Purchasing and Order Processing

FLOW OF ORDER PROCESSING

1. ORDER PREPARATION
·         Customer request the products at the counter to be purchased or by voice communication of order information by calling the Domino’s centre.
·         Customer were given choices based on the menu provided

2. ORDER TRANSMITTAL
·         The sales person transfers the information of the order request using the electronic transmission.
·         The seller making selections from a computer menu and the order automatically send to a screen at the kitchen.
 3. ORDER ENTRY
·         Stock checking: 
As the order appeared at the kitchen screen, the system will automatically connect with the inventory system. Thus, the availability of the goods will be detected. If the goods is not available, the seller will inform the customer and persuade for the other goods.
·         Accuracy checking:
This process done by the seller by repeating the goods that have been order in alert the amount of quantity needed and types of set or menu. The seller will be confirmed the customer the amount of price.
·         Credit checking:
The seller will ask a few personal questions to avoid mock order from the customer whether by calls or direct customer. Delivered ordered customer will pay by cash including direct customer that cost RM50 below for their order. Thus, customer who want to use credit or debit card for the payment above RM50 , need to swap the card at the cashier first to check the card status.
·         Back order / order cancel
This activity made before the order filling proceed to avoid waste.
·         Billing
The bill was given as the proof of purchasing and to tell the customer the amount of their payment.

4. ORDER FILLING
·         Goods were prepared and packing for the delivery
5. ORDER STATUS REPORTING
·         Tracing and tracking by calling the driver or the customer location
·         If the delivery does not send to the right place, the order will be back to the dominos centre and try to contact back the customer for other order.

  • Product Satisfaction Guarantee: Domino’s guarantees satisfaction! Their pizza and side orders are guarantee to be hot, fresh, and great tasting when they arrives at customer’s doorstep, otherwise Domino’s will replace the product or refund customer’s money.
  • 15-Minutes Take-Away Guarantee: Domino’s guarantees customers will receive their Take-Away orders within 15 minutes or Domino’s will give them a free Personal Pizza voucher.
  •  Free Discount Coupon: Provide free coupon to the customer for their future purchase in order to get the customer loyalty.
